Nice house, smaller than advertised
Nice house, very helpful owner. However, the house only had two queen beds, and didn’t look much like the listing. Listing said sleeps 10, which we did not have an ability to do.

So sad
Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with this property or with Vrbo. We arrived late in the evening and the entire property smelled terrible, but it was late and we were tired so we unpacked and went to bed. Early in the morning when we woke up, we realize this was because the septic system was overflowing and not working. Because of this, we were unable to use the showers toilets or any water so we packed up and left. We left a message for the owner and contacted Vrbo. We requested a refund because the property was not inhabitable. At this time we have received 1/3 of what we paid, which I feel is completely unfair. This was a surprise for my sister’s 50th birthday and the whole weekend turned out to be a disaster.

Nice house with a very communicative host
Elizabeth was a very communicative host and gave us a tour of the property as soon as we arrived. We booked it for the Thanksgiving weekend and loved the sun room and location.

Amazing Host! Breathtaking Views! Great Stay! Will Return!
We were so pleased with our stay. The host was truly amazing. I was initially concerned about staying in a Guesthouse, but the owner made our visit private and very comfortable. She offered tips on local finds. She visited with our dog- she is truly an animal person and loves dogs, which was also really great! Our Labrador loved romping around on her beautiful lawn. The home was well stocked and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at this charming retro rental.
