Loved the heated pool -perfect in the cool Monterey weather - and the hot tub. Staff friendly and helpful. Fire pit very inviting. Found me a room on the ground floor even though Expedia had failed to request this for me. I just wish they still had a restaurant.

The location was perfect! Only a short walk across the street to the beach to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Hearing the sealions was a bonus. The property was super clean, the room was fantastic. A small refrigerator and microwave made it great to warm up leftovers from the dozens of restaurants nearby. The staff was super friendly and we spoke at length about Monterey, best places to eat and just life in general. I will definitely come back to stay here again. Price as right but more important was the atmosphere. Cool area to sit at night next to warm gas pits, heated pool was a bonus and the hot tub was perfect after a long day golfing.
