Lovely stay, property is clean and rooms smell fresh and everything is on point. Stayed in the cottages, very roomy and bed was super comfy. Loved the location, a nice short trek to the beach and all the shopping.

Breakfast buffet was just Okay. We actually only went once. With the many coffee shops with pastries, we preferred to forgo the breakfast buffet at the Normandy Inn. Location is great. If we can get a parking spot, you don’t have to move your vehicle the entire time in Carmel.

The place is in an excellent location. All the staff were friendly and helpful with questions about the area. Breakfast had a lot of options. Several were easy for grab and go which worked for us.

The Normandy Inn was beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful..There was shops and restaurants within walking distance (less than 2 minutes). Limited visitor parking in parking lot but easy to park on the street. Less than 5 minutes from Carmel Beach.

A magical place for a convenient stay in Carmel. We had a king room for an affordable rate of $250 per night - taxes included. A reasonable option in the area. We walked outside of the property and were on the Main Street and within walking distance of all the shops, restaurant, and beach. It was a quick 7 minute walk to the beach for sunset each evening. Numerous coffee shops and restaurants right outside the property. Our room was spacious and had all we needed. We had a separate bathroom and vanity room which was very helpful for us. There was a sitting area with comfortable chairs and plenty of lighting in the room - a must for me. In addition, there were 4 mirrors in the room which I found helpful and unusual for a hotel stay. The continental breakfast was okay. Not much to say - normal fare - but it was clean and well stocked. The pool was incredible warm and we enjoyed it one afternoon. The Normandy is a gem, like something out of "Tangled" a quote from my daughter. We asked for more towels and were given plenty - as well as pool towels from the front desk. the shower handle broke and was promptly fixed after a call to the front desk. I can't wait to return to the area and to Normandy Inn.

Loved this place especially the fireplace auto turn on and off. Our room was so nice and comfortable. Location was perfect and dinner recommendations from hotel was perfect for our anniversary! Breakfast was great too it was included but the lady serving in breakfast nook need to relax a little!

We had a hiccup with our room but it was quickly resolved and we were very satisfied. Good. Location, parking is a nightmare on weekends.

The first night Carmel was having a heat wave and the room was extremely hot. No AC in the room and only one of the wondows open. I know this is a rare situation but it would have been nice if they had fans in the rooms for days like this. Wouldn't be much of a cost for the Inn and definitely would hve made.the night more bearable. Weather was normal after that and we had a wonderful trip. I usually stay at the Normandy Inn when my wife and I visit Carmel which is a few times a year.
