“The property gave us a view of the volcano, had comfortable beds for the 3 of us, a kitchen, dining area and a clean bathroom. The host, Reyna, was very kind! She arranged travel and an activity for us, and was extremely flexible with our check out time. She also did our laundry for us ($4/kg) and it was cleanly folded when returned. “The apartment was intimate, cozy, and overall clean. Check in was smooth and level of security was good. With all this said there were opportunities of improvement: 1. Unfortunately, there was an ink stained towel awaiting us in the bathroom. More towels were provided to us but yet again we found the same issue. 2. “Before you book there, you have to be aware that you have to pass through the yard of charming people to get to the room, but they have a big dog (German Shepherd) that greets you with much enthusiasm by jumping on you and playfully trying to bite your arms…Not the best experience, even if you love dogs… They do their best to hold him when they hear you, but when they don’t, it can be scary… The room itself is large and airy, the king size bed is very comfortable, it is super clean, but the……

“A friend and I stayed here. We felt very safe and walked to nearby restaurants for dinner every evening. Wonderful location close to town. 2 bedrooms gave us plenty of space. Beautiful view of the volcano right from the front door! A/c unit in each bedroom; ‘laundry’ is a sink on back porch and a clothesline Very clean! A perfect place to stay to experience La Fortuna!I missed the email with the code to get in the gate when we first arrived because I was traveling, causing a bit of trouble……
