Check-in went smoothly, and the staff member was friendly. But, sorry to say, the area surrounding the motel is especially awful. There's a lot of noise outside late into the night. Beggars in the area bother guests and even knock on your door asking for money. Even at night, when I was already in bed, I'd get knocked on. I didn't always feel safe. I know the motel can't forbid homeless people and beggars from being in the area, but they should take some action to minimize the nuisance.

Horrible, got late there, the place is all dark, pee smell outside the room, dealing with something shady some people there. Roaches and smoke smell inside the room, burned covers and loud neighbors. A big argument started while I was leaving, Didn't stayed, had to run. Could not even check out. Called next day and still no answer.

As promoted, it looked like a decent establishment for a quick reprieve after a lot of driving. Once we arrived at the property, we found it to look almost condemned. Dirty and altogether unkept. Bad reception from the desk manager. Upon approaching our room (just wanted to give it a try after 18 hours of driving) we were met by multiple individuals in the parking lot doing drugs openly, room doors open along the walkway exposing similar activities. I was approached by a few women, which seemed to be a worker of the streets…I didn’t even finish unpacking the car, because there was a group of unsavory characters staring at my family and I like we were a target. I went to the room to get my family to find it in horrid conditions. Smelled like body odor, and everything was stained and sticky. We left immediately. I would absolutely never, ever recommend this establishment. Definitely would like a refund.

The check in was a nightmare, the receptionist had a foreign accent and spoke very softly through a Perspex safety shield making her almost inaudible. Then my credit card was declined, so I switched to my debit card. This too was declined. After failing to contact uk with my mobile they said they could not make int calls from their phone. So I paid in cash. I then went to an ATM nearby at which both my credit card and debit card worked fine. When I informed the reception of this they said their machine was fine. Not very helpful.

How can I get my refund for the room please?

I wasn't able to stay. I made the reservation online with the payment protection, however, upon trying to check in the man would not except my Government issued Veterans ID card. Prior to making the reservation, I called and asked if it was possible to receive a Veterans discount. He said yes as long as I would present my card while checking in. When I got there to check in, the man kept insisting I needed a State ID card to get the room. I asked for the refund and he said he had nothing to do with that and that I would have to call with whomever I booked the room with, which was hotels.com. I've tried calling the customer service number countless times last night, as well as this morning without any success at all.

Fridge still had dranks in it. Two pull out chores had junk all in them. Clothes were left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Homeless was sleeping on the walk way on the second floor. Blankets had burns all over them. Tile in the bathroom was busted up.
