“The hosts were very welcoming and responsive although very little communication was needed. Everything was easy to find and very clean. You could tell that someone had taken the time to do a thorough cleaning job. We've had experiences where that wasn't the case. There were plenty of towels and blankets. Everything worked well, and there was even the added touch of coffee on the counter and creamer in the refrigerator. The neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. The house is spacious and family……

“The location was convenient - very close to Route 15. Our host was quick to respond to our queries. As a non-smoker, I noticed a fairly prominent odor of smoke in the house.”

“This site is an absolute Jem!! Was there Oct31 to Nov3. was easy to park and the Barn was amazing!! Ben the host was accommodating and very helpful. The grounds were immaculate and the fire ring and chairs made for an amazing view of the night sky!! Not far from Penn State also. Lots of cool things locally. Eagle State park was awesome. This place is a no brainier for any one who has an RV. Our 27 foot travel trailer fit with a lot of room to spare. If you like quiet this is the spot. Also just……

“This without question was the most unique place I have ever stayed. My trip had a tight timeline that did not allow me to take full advantage of the property. However I can assure future guest but if you're looking for something out of the ordinary this property is it. It may not be suitable for everyone particularly those who aren't familiar with what a real working barn entails. But if you want something outside the norm this is it. Pictures do not do it justice. While we only communicated……

“What a sweet, cozy place to stay. We were visiting colleges nearby and it was a perfect place to stay the night. We watched the sunset over the river at the end of the block and walked to get coffee the next morning at a funky coffee shop. The house had everything we needed for the night. ”

“This house was wonderful and everything that we could possibly want or need. It was clean, welcoming and beautiful!! There was even a welcoming bottle for us. And that was delicious. The house was close to town with restaurants and stores just a short drive away. We were very glad that the house was available as it was perfect for our weekend stop for a family wedding. “New & clean, and on a lovely farm even if somewhat remote. Guests must be very nimble to access the loft sleeping area, and be ok with a firm sleeping surface & tight spaces. ”

“We had no explicit directions about the location, couldnt get in, texted the property owner, she replied 3 hours later, 2 paper towels on the existing roll, toilet paper roll was nearly out, old k cup in the keurig, debris on the floor, the bed was awful. My husband and i sank into the middle of it. It made a retched squeking sound anytime i moved. I was not worth the pricing. The curtains were haphazardly hung. 2 total k-cups of coffee for 2 people. Not happy with this experience at all. ”

“We had an incredibly wonderful stay! This is the CLEANEST home we have ever stayed in.....the host generously provided all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable....luxurious towels and plenty of them....coffee, tea, etc. the house is beautifully decorated, simple but elegant. The 3 outdoor decks provide amazing views! We look forward to returning in the fall! ”
