「Bucket list to see Alaska. Glacier cruise fantastic Mountains beautiful, lots of hiking house could use some updates on beds. Clean and quiet area.」

「Girdwood is a great location for an Alaska vacation. We spent almost a week here and did so much great stuff in the area. This house was great for our family. Vacasa operates this rental and they're easy to communicate with. I even accidentally locked the key to the house inside and when I called, they gave me the code to a backup key box to get us access almost immediately. There are a bunch of houses clustered together, which isn't ideal, but the neighbors are very friendly. The only negative...

「August 18-24: We stayed 6 nights at this beautiful chalet in Moose Pass. The chalet was lovely with a fabulous well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. This was the perfect location between Portage and Seward for us to hike and fish and then come back and eat together and recover from our daily adventures in the hot tub. The beds were super comfortable and the washer/dryer was especially convenient. Our hosts were extremely helpful as we had a late check-in and also needed help storing our sealed...

「Loved staying at the chalet! Very clean and loved all the little touches♥ Beautiful View to wake up to close enough to town but far enough for seclusion.」

「It’s perfect for skiers! Although we didn’t go to ski, we enjoyed the area and the chalet! I wish the weather would’ve cooperated, but we were able to enjoy a relaxing getaway! 」

「It was a quick trip but we enjoyed our stay. The main beds are upstairs in the open loft (there is no separation between the “bedroom” and the “office”) and the stairs are quite steep so you always want to have a hand for the railing. The owners live next door and were very helpful and friendly!」
