“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”

“This is a great hotel for a few nights' stay for a traveller. It's literally next door to the Grosseto train station and just a few blocks' walk to the walled center city. It is lovely, has great, helpful staff, is clean, quiet and secure - with a 24-hour desk person who keeps the room keys while you're out. Breakfast buffet is extensive and high quality -- worth the price. Overall, great value!”

“Riesiger Aussenpool, mit etwas zu kaltem Wasser. Frühstücksbuffet riesig und gut! Das zu grosse Restaurant bietet praktisch keine Auswahl - ein Fleisch- und ein Fischgericht und fertig. Dazu ein paar Vorspeisen. Eher zu teuer. Wenige Schritte zum Strand. Dort gibt es gute und günstige Restaurants mit grosser Menueauswahl.”
