A more modern property than our usual stays but still quite quirky. The kitchen was a decent size with plenty of worktop space and a good sized fridge, however it did lack a dishwasher. Off this was a good sized enclosed garden, which my dogs were happy in. A nice sitting/ dining room, the settee and chairs though slightly worn were comfortable and the dogs loved the fur covered bean bag left for their use.
There were lots of books throughout the house as well as games and DVDS ( though we didn't see a DVD player).
The beds were comfortable and had lovely white bedding on.
The bathroom was clean and very nice ,the shower over the bath but still a decent size shower head.
There were lots of interesting ornaments throughout the property and plants in several rooms which gave a homely feel and less of just a holiday property.
The few draw backs were the bottom oven didn't work too well though there was a top oven so we did manage, there were no oven gloves which I do think should be addressed , and no dishwasher ( which we probably missed when booking)
The property was warm, comfortable and in a fabulous location with lovely walks from the village and within a few miles of many lovely interesting places.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and through staying in this village discovered many smaller , beautiful villages, less well known villages we hadn't visited before.
There are also 2 good pubs in the village itself and several more with a 3 mile radius all serving good food.
A really good base to stay.
We have used Stay Cotswolds in the past and would always use for stays in the Cotswolds and recommend to all my friends and family.
