Quiet and quaint for a true WV country feel. Close to WVU without the hustle and bustle of being downtown. Check in and check out were hassle free and easy. Great communication from the owners. Little cafe across the street is lovely. Had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again!

WVU Football Trip

Charming place

It was very clean and cute. Would have liked some extra cream and sugar for the wonderful coffee that was in room. Bed was a little too soft. I would stay here again.

Perfect.

This is a very nice little place. I was moving my daughter into her dorm and needed a place to stay for one night. This was perfect. The cafe next door was perfect for coffee in the morning. I'll be back.

If you are seeking a "luxury suite" (as advertised), you will be greatly disappointed. There was nothing luxurious about our accommodations. Extremely cramped quarters, old (not antique, not charming, just old) furniture, no couch (or loveseat), no closet, hot water only occasionally, toilet seat broken -- shall I go on? Three nice things about our stay -- friendly proprietor, comfortable bed, and wonderful backyard view.

Modern Homestead in Reedsville? Lovely!

This place makes you feel like you are at a home, but better – no chores, just enjoy! Flanked by a coffee/amazing gift shop and a beautiful nursery – I cannot begin to explain the greenery and meticulousness of the landscaping and grounds of this property. The suite was comfortable and stylish (the bed incredible), with a fully functional kitchen and our OWN private deck overlooking the nursery and amazing landscaping. The building still feels historic which I LOVE (original front doors, hardwoods, porch, etc) and has modern decorating touches. This is a breath of literal fresh air in the mountains of West Virginia, and such a treat. The privacy, serenity, personalization and clear love and attention to detail makes anything a large chain could do pale in comparison in my opinion.

Property was clean and well kept. Unfortunately was only 20 yards from a very noisy intersection. Truck noise started at 3 AM and went late into the evenings. No staff available at any time we were there.

What a lovely Inn this was. I stayed in suite A. It was modern, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It had a nice back porch with a bench. There was a little gift shop, nursery across the street with delicious coffee and tasty treats. The shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing and made my hair look and feel great. They had full size bottles for purchase as well. The Inn keepers also had an adorable dog named Louie who loved the attention we showed him. I highly recommend this Inn.

Country comfort

The inn was roomy, well appointed and comfortable. The main room area was spacious with a sleeping area, sitting area, and a small kitchen table with two chairs. There was also a full kitchen. The location is rural, but only about 20 minutes from the put-in for Cheat River rafting trips. I will absolutely make this my go-to lodging when I return to the area for work.

Fantastic Stay

We went up for a football game and enjoyed our stay so much. The room was so clean, modern and cozy. Trellis made extra effort to make sure you were set and had everything needed. We were arriving late and he sent me where I could find the key and pictures so I knew where I was going. The coffee shop across the street is also amazing and I love the extra touches they added to make it a wonderful place to stay. Would recommend Homestead Inn to anyone!
