「When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. Very quiet neighbourhood, with all the major attractions a bus ride away. I hope to visit again soon. 」

「This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. 」

「This historic tradition Kyoto guesthouse is renovated with a very comfortable atmosphere. Staff are quite good in English. No communication problem at all. Their cuisine made of lots of fresh ingredients and good cooking technique, but I think it is a bit fusion cuisine rather 100% tradition style. It is a very good choice if you are frist time to Kyoto, but if you are a experienced Gourmet you may find the price is just fair for what you get. Especially for the breakfast, a bit...
