“I had a wonderful experience overall at my stay in the Modern Studio, in Kent. Deborah was thorough in communication and welcoming upon my arrival. Their guidebook is full of helpful information about local fare, points of interest and history about the farm and surrounding area. Also, I appreciate the treats and Nespresso. I’d definitely recommend staying for these points and for central location which lends to the ease of walking into town from the studio.”

“This is a beautiful place to stay. I loved the kitchen, which was well stocked with appliances like a kcup machine and coffee pods and everything was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. Check-in was a little difficult because the door wasn’t labeled the same way the surrounding doors were labeled so I had some trouble finding it but the owner called me that evening to help me find the correct door. “Once we found the house it was very warm & cozy. The mini- muffins on the counter was a bonus. House mailbox was 87 but address was 89 that you only see if door is closed which it wasn't on 1st 2 passes. Limited exterior lights made coming back at night a challenge. ”

“Nice place close to the track but should be cleaner and bug free. Lots of spiders everywhere when we arrived. Owner apologized but as they say you only get one chance at a good impression. While the outside appearance did not adversely affect our stay, I would strongly suggest to the owner to power wash the house especially the area at the guest entrance. It could look brand new and appealing with minimal effort versus spider webs, bugs, dirt and mold on the exterior of the house. Needs an AC……

“Convenient to the theater we went to for an overnight and ability to make meals. House was clean and comfortable. Location is nice quiet neighborhood. Good communication. ”

“Upon arrival the bi-level property seemed clean. There were tons of rules that I have not experienced at higher end hosted properties. The railings were very wobbly as we walked up the concrete stairs. The dryer vent was clogged which they had someone fix. The vent was just cleared out. The dryer vent is one that could catch on fire.The hosts attention to detail is clearly lacking. The neighborhood is a little on the sketchy side.
