「First I am normally not a complainer. I have also stayed in many VRBOs. All very positive experiences.I was expecting rustic because this place looked dated. However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. It is supposed to be supplied with enough towels and wash clothes for 13 guests. It is not. They are working on flooring up stairs so one room was subfloor. Not completed. 「We really loved walking in and being welcomed with the beautiful stained glass windows. The room set up was perfect for our family and everything was very clean. The only issue was that on VRBO it stated 2 bathrooms. When we got there, we found there was just one. 8 people-1 bathroom. 」

「The level we stayed in was huge!! 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large tv viewing area, another cozier area for chatting over morning coffee. The view of the trees and lake was beautiful especially at sunset. Plenty of amenities including keurig coffee maker. Steve was a great host and very helpful. Our plan is to go again and seriously thinking we've found our forever fall getaway. 」

We really appreciate people sharing their homes. It is such a nice way to gather with family (when our places are a bit too small!). We will look you up again when returning to Owatonna!」
