The check-in experience certainly could be improved. Perhaps make an attempt to make it a welcoming - rather than inconvenient - experience. After all, you’re in the business of hospitality!
Arguably my own lapse for not inspecting the room first, but the property’s definition of a “cabin” is vastly different to the norm. Picture more like a plain, stark, small room in a series of rooms along a demountable, not the traditional image of a standalone, quaint or rustic cabin. Of course, there are more luxurious options here if you want them (and the photos of those hint that it would be quite nice).
Nonetheless, it was clean, reasonably quiet, the bed was comfortable, and it served its purpose in keeping me dry for the night during a downpour.
