"I want to be transparent here. My room was barebones, but it is what I paid for, and for that I was satisfied. If you’re looking for the 5 star experience without paying for it, that’s unrealistic here for right now. The staff were friendly and flexible. It’s my hope that Richmond hotel will provide more amenities, upgrades, and repairs as it gets more guests there."

"The room was absolutely disgusting the bedding was not washed at all . I could smell the body odor of the person that slept on it last. My husband was so grossed out he slept on the table. There were bugs and the fridge was dirty. There was a fist sized hole in the bathroom door like someone tried breaking it down . There were white stains on the chairs and the couch I wish I could get my money back bc that was terrible "

"I felt completely spoiled during our entire stay! They have thought of almost everything and the service was excellent! It was our first visit, and definitely a splurge, but it was a joy to stay there! We ate in the restaurant one morning and enjoyed room service the next, and to be honest, I enjoyed room service so much more! Everything arrived hot/cold and exactly as I ordered it, and the hostess Eva was especially friendly and kind! I also loved the noon checkout because my husband was in a meeting all morning and I didn’t need to ask for a late checkout. The history and architecture of The Jefferson have been preserved and highlighted! What a gorgeous property!"
