"Lovely hotel outside of St. Emilion. The restaurant is exceptionally good; the staff are very attentive and will go out of their way to make the stay better. The hotel amenities are also good (a lovely pool). The downside is the limited shuttles in to St. Emilion - given the distance from St. Emilion these should be more regular."

"Welcomed by a sweet couple who were very attentive to any possible needs. The home and room are lovely, super clean, well kept and quiet. Our host, Clement, was a storehouse of information regarding the area, and fun to chat with as he is a wine maker and quite knowledgeable about the history of locally produced wines. Without doubt, we would gladly stay there again."

"Booked and paid in JANUARY. Arrived 16:00 (check-in allegedly from 14:00). Place was locked; could not make anyone hear us. Waited 30 minutes before finding another hotel. Had also booked dinner but the sign outside said the restaurant was closed on Tuesday (the day of our stay). Contacted hotels.com to request full refund - this was apparently refused by the hotel (though hotels.com personnel said they couldn’t really communicate with hotel very well as the staff there only spoke French. Er… it’s a French hotel!!!). Eventually given £25 in award points - well under half what we had paid five months earlier! VERY unhappy with the whole situation!"
