"Bouceel Castle was a splurge stay for my wife and I but we only planned on staying 1 night in this area and it was well worth it. We were so impressed with our room, our view, the grounds, the decor... it was a shame we only booked one night. The highlight of course was learning about the history of the home and it's original owner. Very interesting and very sweet that he took the time to share it with us. What more can I say? "The price was good and we stayed one night so we could visit Mont Saint Michele, it is about 25 minutes away by car. Note that the town of Pontorson shuts down early. We could not find a restaurant open on a Friday night stay, no fault of the hotel."

"Good location. The woman who received us was nice. She told us that we could buy breakfast the next day, and this was not the case though. For some reason I was the only one not allowed to get breakfast. The bed collapsed the first time I sat on it, so I slept on the bunked. They were nice to let me in when we had forgotten the code. "

"They upgraded my room to one with a private bathroom free of charge due to most of the hotel being occupied by male construction workers. It was greatly appreciated. Only downside is the location, as there is nothing around except a few grocery stores that close early and the closest bus is a 20min walk away. Aside from that, it was a great little spot and the staff was lovely! "

"A very special place. If you want something that is an experience I highly recommend! Bernard and Ignacio are excellent hosts who have done a tremendous job in repairing and restoring this beautiful Chateau. Breakfast was superb and the view of Mt St Michel is extraordinary. Can’t recommend enough"
