Peaceful retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A cozy cottage on the lake with the sound of loons at night. A nice getaway for a small group to relax.

Perfect Lakeside Retreat for Two (and a Pup!)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage! The location is absolutely idyllic—just steps from the water, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. One of our favorite features was the screened-in porch, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine without the bugs.The property is small and thoughtfully designed, with cozy furnishings that made it feel like a true home away from home. It technically sleeps five, but we can’t imagine having that many people in the space—it was just right for the two of us (plus our dogs, who loved it!).We really appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was on arrival. The hosts clearly care about the space, and it shows. Being dog-friendly was a huge plus, and the area was great for taking long walks and enjoying nature together.The only minor note is that we opted to buy bottled water, as we weren’t sure about the safety of the tap water. But that was a small detail in an otherwise perfect trip.If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and pet-friendly getaway on the lake, this place is a gem!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy

Great spot! We were really excited to stay on the lake and this place did not disappoint: easy access to beautiful lake winni, very dog friendly neighborhood for long walks and close to castle in the clouds for amazing hikes. The screened in porch was our favorite spot, you can enjoy the tranquility of the lake first thing in the am or into the evening, and the breeze off the lake is great. Plenty of room for our family of four (3 humans and one dog). We’re already looking forward to staying here next year.
