“Due to a major winter storm that hit this area, we were not able to make this trip. I reached out to the property owner at the beginning of the week to see if they would work with us to reschedule for another weekend, as my husband and I were excited to stay at this property. I was told that they were booked up, which in reviewing their calendar.....that was not the fact. I never once asked for my money back, just to reschedule. Property owner stated that they need to adhere to……

“The cottage is absolutely adorable! Perfect for our little Mount Airy/ Mayberry getaway! The cottage is just around the corner from Wally's Station & the Squad car tours. The town is a short distance away. We walked to downtown easily. (ages 62). The cottage has so much character and charm. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. The living room was also comfy & cozy. The front porch is a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will be back! ……

“Overall, we had a good stay. The home looked exactly like the photos and comfortably accommodated our group during a difficult time with family. The space was clean and met our needs. My only concerns were that the glass panel/door in the shower was missing, which made the bathroom less functional than expected. I also submitted a request to update the reservation to allow up to 5 guests because we had family and friends stopping by while we were grieving, but I never received a response from……

“This is the CLEANEST rental we have EVER stayed! And we have stayed in a LOT! The area is very quiet, with a gorgeous view of a pond and rolling hills. Kathy, our host, was actually there at the house when we arrived - and was extremely nice and welcoming. In fact, she had a last minute cancellation and upgraded us to a larger home! Everything and anything we would need was provided! God willing, will be back!”
