Mount Desert Family Hotel

"My initial thought was that a motel was not likely to be a great property. Wrong! The Anchorage Motelmis in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to shuttle service for Acadia National Park and easy access to many great restaurants. We were in the new building and the room had everything we needed including a microwave. Also, two very comfortable chairs, nightstands on both sides of the beds, shower with lots of pressure,etc. Staff was excellent - both Susie and Natalie had excellent suggestions and information."

"The location was perfect .5 min walk to the heart of Bar Harbor, Restaurants, Shopping, Historical landmarks etc. Free WIFI, Ample Parking Life saver $1 sodas, very friendly front desk women. "

"The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village. The rooms are a little dated but beds were comfortable, Internet access was excellent."
