"We were in town visiting sick family and unfortunately spent most of our time at the hospital. The home was located within 15 mins of UW Hospital and many local restaurants and shopping. The home had plenty of bedrooms and space if traveling with a larger group. We did take our dog and though there isn’t much yard space the neighborhood is great for a walk. Very safe and quiet. The only negative to the house would be the stairs if anyone has mobility issues. You have to do stairs to get to...

"My family and I stayed here over a long weekend so we can visit some local attractions, including Cave of the Mounds. The house was great - 3 bedrooms, including a "kid's room" with 2 twin beds. It was a clean, long ranch house with one entire wall consisting of windows looking out to the back, which was all nature. A short walk out the back leads to a cliff with beautiful views of the neighboring hills and valleys. We saw turkeys each morning. The host, Barbara, was very easy to communicate...

"Our stay at the Pink Acorn was amazing! Kelly truly makes her guests feel welcome. She left a sweet note and lovely treats. The house is stocked with everything you need and was exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfortable and have nice cozy blankets. Am added bonus was seeing rabbits and chipmunks in the backyard. Kelly leaves directions to walk to the beach around the corner and it’s a must do…and make sure to grab some ice cream at the shop across from the park."

The property owners offer many amenities that we would typically pack, dish soap/sponge, coffee filters, spices, etc. They have remembered every last detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The lakefront sunroom with its wall of windows was our favorite spot for morning coffee and an evening sunset! We would 100% return to this...

The house is in a great location, and well appointed with everything we needed. Plenty of closet space for belongings to keep everything neat and orderly. The kitchen had everything we needed (but a potato masher ... our daughter brought that over). We had plenty of room for group to eat together, bake...

"My friends and I (2 couples and a single) stayed here for a friend's wedding on the east side of Madison. The location was very convenient, with Uber rides into town at about $10. We also enjoyed the nearby Olbrich gardens and bike paths. The house itself is charming and has all amenities. It is a bit creaky so you'll hear every footstep of your housemates during the stay, but it wasn't too annoying."
