Property was as advertised. Secluded off the beaten yet close to everything. Cabin was clean and co,y and stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely go back!

The cabin was soo beautiful! It was secluded and so peaceful. It was about 10 minutes from town and all the things Mtn View have to offer. I hope to have the chance to stay here again.

Would definitely stay again.

Would definitely stay again. It was exactly what we hoped for for our science trip with the kids. Cabin is tucked away so you have privacy, but close to the caverns, horseback riding, hiking, and playing in the spring. Not much internet service but was happy about that. Good to be unplugged.

Mini vacation

Just being able to have the screen door so that the front door could be open in the back door could be open and you could just hear nature was great. We ate supper on the back porch the last night we were there wonderful. It was a very relaxing stay

everything was great but i have to say the beds are kind of uncomfortable but i did sleep on the couch that turns into a bed that is on the screened in back porch and it was peaceful and comfortable!

We greatly enjoyed the cabin, especially the wood burning fireplace. So cozy!! The shower head was a bit frustrating as it does not stay straight, but the bathroom and shower are quite spacious! The kitchen seemed to be missing dry measuring cups that would be helpful, but it's pretty well stocked for a weekend of cooking and relaxing.

We loved the location and the look!!! So cozy! The stove did not work. They had a note about how to get it to work because of a “safety feature” but it would just cut off. It was not a real problem on this little 2 day trip but if we came for a normal trip we would want to cook for sure.

Fall Break in the Mountains

This little cabin was perfect for a short, quiet Fall break. We loved the woodburning fireplace as the weather turned very cold while there. The location is close enough to town that if you don't want to cook, you don't have to, or if you forgot something the store is nearby...and it's a short distance from Blanchard Caverns and Mirror Lake. The only negative was the queen bed mattress. We didn't think it was very comfortable, but we've slept on worse! Overall a peaceful place to retreat.

Wonderful gem in the Blanchard Springs area!

Wonderful gem in the Blanchard Springs area! This cabin is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. It was spotlessly clean, private, and the surrounding woods were absolutely stunning. We had deer in our yard while we ate breakfast, and spotted a Peregrine Falcon one afternoon! The hosts are friendly and responsive and made us feel right at home. The fire-pit was wonderful and we enjoyed many games of chess with the wooden chess set. The location is perfect if you want to go horseback ridingvisit Blanchard Springs. We hope to return and visit again sometime! Our only note for other guests is that if you're city slickers like us, you might bring your own pillows and blankets. We're used to fluffier/softer bedding and regretted not bringing our pillows along. But this cabin is well worth the visit and we can't wait to come back!

Nice, secluded cabin 10 minutes away from the Blanchard Springs cave and Ozark Folk Center. This property is located on about 10 wooded acres with excellent privacy, yet only about 50 yards from the highway. The cabin is clean, well-appointed, and the host is responsive. It doesn’t have any T-Mobile coverage, so take that into account (which some consider a good thing). Unsure about the coverage of other phone providers. There is WiFi but it is extremely slow (again, some may consider this a good thing). There is a screened in back porch that my whole family really enjoyed. There is only one bathroom, so factor this in if your party is multi-family.
