“Close to the ferry terminal and nice restaurant with good food. Staff were very friendly.”

“A bit of a trip back in time.... It is an older facility. It was a basic accommodation, but the beds were comfortable and we slept okay. The walls are a bit thin, but people quieted down relatively early. It was a handy place to stay if you are getting on the ferry to Newfoundland.”

“Staff was great, helpful when needed for our room issue. They were friendly and kind. Breakfast was very good! Room was not renovated yet, so carpet was kind of yucky, hallways needed to be vacuumed. Fitness center was supposed to be open, but was not yet ready. The music in the Crown Lounge was fantastic, so were the drinks! The location was great c near lots of great places to eat.”

“Would not recommend, stayed in a lot of hotels in Canada and the US but this is worst by far. I understand you get what you pay for but this was unbelievable. Booked a king bed and got a queen, no big deal but it gets worst. No computer system, they gave me a room number and when I got to the room there was someone in there. Room wasn't ready at 6:15pm in the afternoon. Towels were stained. Tissue box had 2 tissues and 1/2 roll of bathroom tissue with no replacements. Could not close my window……

“The room was clean but I think the floor could be cleaned since it was a little sticky and felt better wearing our shoes. The mattress just had a flat sheet no mattress protector or fitted sheet. The bed was fresh and clean non the less. Lots of amenities for shower. The little lounges at entrance were clean and attractive. The outside is being improved. Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of choices unless you like eggs. We were there for 3 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would……

“Ok for the price. If you put coffee makers in the room even better. Keep renovating and it will be a good motel in the future. Front desk was nice and helpful. Location was good for getting towards Chabot Trail.”

“Did not stay due to rooms not being cleaned for check in time, dirty sheets in a (clean room) the hotel stunk of cigarettes and manager will not respond to refund email requests in a time manner! Do not recommend staying here save your time and money!”
