“Our visit to the Sanna did not start well, there was a snafu with our reservation, resulting in us being moved to their eco lodge on arrival. The staff was very gracious in trying to make up for this, and the owner personally came to right this. The hotel is beautiful, i fully recommend upgrading the suite. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar that has beautiful views. The bell tower and market is within walking distance, however vendors make walking the streets annoying. They have a transfer……
“Peaceful spot just outside Arusha, with lots of monkeys hanging around outside to watch as you chill with a drink. The pool was lovely and the whole place has a premium feel with great service. Would definitely come back - this was the perfect start to my safari hol as a solo 30yo female traveller :)”
“Albert and rest of staff were very attentive and friendly. The customer service was excellent. Beautiful landscaping around the property made it a pleasant stay.”
“Didas Villa was the perfect place to stay before our Safari. The owner, Fred, met us at check-in. We arrived kind of late and very hungry. He offered to cook for us or to drive us to a restaurant. He drove us to a wonderful restaurant called Amber. It was delicious with an Indian inspired menu. After dinner we called Fred and he came to pick us up. The hospitality at Didas Villa goes far above expectations. It was a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. The staff were all friendly and the……
“A great find in terms of value, staff’s helpfulness, on-site dining, and property grounds, despite the fact that the short street immediately outside of the property appears less than desirable. ”
“Really great deal for the price. Excellent staff. Interesting guests. Very talkative roosters nearby. Great places to shop and eat nearby. Highly recommend. ”
“I stay at this hotel everytime I visit! The staff is soo friendly and ready to help in anyway they can. The hot breakfast bar changes every morning and is delectable. I would recommend this place to anyone!”
“I love this hotel! It’s clean and super safe (they have a security guard at the gate). The staff is helpful and welcoming. They can help you find restaurants, get a a taxi, even just answer questions about Tanzanian culture. Most speak very good English. The owner is onsite almost everyday and really nice. It felt like a home away from home. Don’t expect anything fancy though. The rooms are comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The top selling point is the atmosphere, which you can’t get at……
“This is a great hotel right in the middle of Arusha. Good breakfast, spacious rooms and a big beautiful garden to wander through. Take advantage of happy hour in the Hatari Bar.
A few notes: Arusha is a busy, noisy city and you're right in the middle of it. Don't expect rooms near the road to be quiet. Doesn't bother us as we live in a busy city, but might bother you if you're not used to it. The front desk will arrange a driver for you to take you wherever you need to go, but there are a……
