“Our stay was great overall. Our room had a bathtub which is always a big plus. Perfect location in the middle of Lizard, with plenty of shops nearby and Lizard point within a short walking distance.”

“Lovely Easter break! The 'Owl' room was ideal for the four of us, as has bunks for the kids & a fabulous super-king bed. Superb Breakfasts & Sunday roast served by hosts Dave, Jackie & their team. 5 min drive from St Ives, didn't cause us an issue. This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' ”

“Really nicely presented hotel in a great location. 5 mins from train station and five mins from the town. Rooms on the smallish side, however the balcony helps as a place to relax. Very friendly and courteous staff so we recommend a stay if you are in the area.”

“Es war einfach wunderbar! Wir waren äusserst angenehm überrascht, da wir an diesem sehr touristischen Ort nicht viel erwartet hatten und sowieso sehr überrascht waren, dass wir so kurzfristig noch ein Zimmer buchen konnten. Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber sehr herzig mit eingeschränkter Meersicht. Das Bad war neu renoviert und der absolute Hammer! Alles funktionierte wunderbar und hatte wohlriechende Pflegeprodukte im Spender. Das Hotel ist wahnsinnig schön gelegen und wir haben die Umgebung……

“Great place to stay the night before our Seal Sanctuary Experience around the corner in Gweek. Lovely clean and bright bedroom. Delicious evening meal in the pub. Also very tasty breakfast in the morning, very friendly lady served us and was very flexible about the time we needed to have our breakfast. ”

“Wunderschöner Rückzugsort. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und schön. Es gibt kein Frühstück im herkömmlichen Sinne, sondern im Zimmer ist eine kleine Küchenzeile und man kann sich selbst dort Toast und Kaffe machen. Butter, Marmelade und Obst sowie Saft und Milch sind vorhanden. Für eine Nacht war es für uns perfekt.”

“Absolutely loved our Caravan stay. This was a major highlight of our 3 week trip. We loved being so close to the beach and a short drive to St. Ives for a day of shopping and a true Cornish pasty (well half of one because the seagulls are savages!). We took our 6 month old son for his very first swim at the pool, which was a great memory. No wifi in the caravans which is a slight bummer, but apparently there is wifi at the bar so you could download movies onto and phone or iPad if you felt the……

“The Nook was exceptionally clean and everything looked as if it were never used before. The kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and a smart tv in room meant I could relax and watch a movie. It was only 15 minute walk to town. The place itself was a bit hard to find. Google maps were sending me close but I eventually had to ask a local where Alexander road was.”

“Very friendly hosts very clean and tidy rooms and the option to put heating on in your room if required bathroom very clean bed extremely comfortable and a nice range of tea/ coffees in the room and a tv . Breakfast was excellent would definitely recommend to anyone and only a two minute walk from the train station ”

“Another brilliant YHA offering great value for money. I stayed in a private room that had a fantastic sea view and everything was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the optional breakfast is worth it and has a lot of choice. Location is at the top of a steep hill but only a 5 minute walk to the harbour. ”
