"Lovely house renovated to a high standard, situated a 15 minute walk from the fantastic Carbis Bay beach, St Ives harbour is only a 20 minute walk in the other direction where there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops. "

"Fantastic location, plenty of parking, everything you need (home from home) However the property is tired and needs some tlc. The garden is overgrown and the hedges are unkept which obstruct the sea views. Overall I would definitely recommend the property. "

"This was our second stay at Bettys Cottage and our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was wonderful! The cottage has everything you need, it’s a quick walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.We both highly recommend this beautiful home and can’t wait to book our third stay "

"The property was extremely clean and well-stocked. It's a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the beach. We really enjoyed our time there. The driveway is a killer and there are several steps to the entrance, but the climb is so worth it! Thanks for a great few days in Porthtowan!"

"We were made very welcome by the hosts. The flat was spotlessly clean and well-equipped to make the stay very comfortable. Great views and a short walk to the beach for our daily swims. Easy to make the short train trip in/out of St Ives, although 30 min the walk around the headland is also a must do. So I would say that you get all the benefits of the bustling St Ives but with the peace and calm of Carbis Bay to stay at. Thank you, we would love to return one day."
