“Far too fussy and too much clutter, no room to put anything anywhere. All cupboards full. Good job only two of us so we could use spare bedroom for our cases etc. Very clean ,very quiet, but no local information. Tesco express 100 yards but very few amenities in village. No direct sun at this time of year so despite good weather couldn’t sit outside.”

“This was our second visit to the Dell. It’s in a perfect, quiet location, just a short walk from the shops and beautiful beach. The chalet was very clean and well equipped; the kitchen had every utensil we could need! The only thing that would improve our stay a little is the option of a slightly earlier check in, as the day is nearly over by 4 p.m., and slightly later checkout than 10 a.m. ”

“We had a great two night stay at The Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. A quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The cooked breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked for you. We also ate at the pub in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the cocktails. Check in was easy. The staff were really lovely and could not have be more friendly, welcoming or attentive. ”

“Really great, absolutely spotless room. Lovely shower. As some of the other reviews suggest, it could do with some hooks for coats and bath towels, and maybe a shelf for toiletries in the shower. ”

“What an absolute gem. Situated in a quiet quaint village Wayside is the perfect getaway. My room was clean and spacious with views out onto beautiful countryside. Lovely courtyard at the entrance with seating area. Continental breakfast wanted for nothing with fresh refrigerated milk, yoghurts, orange juice, cheese grapes etc. Lovely fresh bread, toaster, kettle and all you need to use. Shower room compact and spotless. I would definitely recommend”
