Loved the wooded deck. I sought to be the first one up to read in the cool and peaceful atmosphere. House was good. All needed items were provided. Tho only small detail was the outside sitting areas and the grill. We had to clean all before we used them. The tables and chairs needed to be washed down and the grill was not cleaned after previous use. I wouldn’t hesitate in renting house again. Very pleasant stay.

We stayed here in February for a few nights with our two kids (6 & 3). We had a wonderful time. It was great for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome and Cottonwood. We felt very safe here and had plenty of room to relax. Nice tv in the living room, a few games for the kiddos and a wonderful porch to relax on.

Cozy cabin

We had such a great stay! David provided everything we could absolutely need and more! He even had toys for our dogs! He made it very easy to check in and made sure we were doing okay during our stay. My husband and I, our 9 month old baby, and our two dogs had a great stay! We definitely recommend it!

Overall the experience was great!

There is just a couple things I would change. The cleanliness, the cleaners could do a better job. We found some gross (things I will not name) that should’ve def been cleaned up. There was also full trash bags of trash on the back porch. Idk why they didn’t get tossed before we came. Other wise the host was very nice and responsive and the cabin did its part for our stay.

Munds Park Stay

Close to Grand Canyon and Sedona. Nice and quiet town. House is clean with all amenities such as clothes washer. Plenty of foods provided. Enjoyed the stay.

Perfect getaway from PHX heat!

David's cabin was just what we were needing to get out of the heat. It had plenty of room for all of us (4 adults, two infants, 1 dog) and a very well stocked kitchen that made meal prep and cooking a breeze. The awesome wrap around deck with a grill was great to sit on and relax, and the 80 inch television was a plus to watch college football and shows/movies for the family. The cabin is perfectly situated at the top of Munds Park where we enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the cool mornings/evenings, along with having immediate access to the forest where we could go hike or drive and be at Mormon Lake in 30 mins. There is also a playground 5 mins from the cabin (next to the golf course) for the kids to play and get some energy out. All in all I would highly recommend David's cabin to anyone looking to getaway from the summer heat. He was a fantastic host from beginning to end and we'll definitely be back again soon.
