"A delightful step back in time while having all the modern conveniences. Cottage was renovated beautifully with every attention to detail and in keeping with its old world charm. Sonia, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to really enjoy the cottage in the evenings around the fire. "Had a wonderful stay at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well looked after. The hotel is full of character, beautifully maintained, and the service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout. The absolute highlight of our stay was the resident cat—incredibly friendly and affectionate, always ready for a cuddle. It added such a special, heart-warming touch to an already lovely experience. A charming hotel with exceptional hospitality (and the sweetest furry host!). Would happily return and highly recommend it."
