"The historic hotel has been restored to perfection. Really enjoyed our dinner in the Terrace Grill. The downtown area has many options for dining and good times. Highly recommend a walk around Lake Mirror for the view and gardens. "

"House is located on a corner lot with unobstructed views of Lake Morton across the street. Sipping coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise with all the swans and ducks was a highlight. The house was amply stocked and perfect for our family. There was even a little Christmas tree decorated in the living room. We loved the different sitting areas. We were walking distance to downtown historic Lakeland, and a very short drive to Southeastern University for graduation festivities. The house is also a short drive to Florida Southern University. Our family drove from different parts of FL so there was plenty of driveway and free street parking. You are walking distance to restaurants, coffee shop and an ice cream shop. Be aware that the third bedroom is a twin with a trundle only accessible through the master which was fine for us. Also, the bathrooms are only accessible through the bedrooms which was fine for a family. We would definitely stay here again. "

"What a terrific place to stay! Very quaint, very comfortable, and Stephen was pretty much at our beck and call! Very communicative and willing to provide us with any additional amenities that we might have needed, but actually, we had everything we needed. It's so close to so many cool things in the Morton Lake District, including the lake itsel. Great off-street parking. Would stay there agin! Thanks for everything! "

"Wonderful, newly renovated property in desirable neighborhood near FSC and Lake Morton and Lake Hollingsworth! My only recommendation to improve this property is a few more kitchen supplies and a bigger sofa; otherwise a great home away from home!"
