“The lobby was in such terrible shape, we asked to see the room. We forfeited our payment as the room smelled musty; there was exposed plumbing in the bathroom, carpet was very old, water spotted ceiling in the room and the lobby. Shouldn't be listed on Expedia. Reviews/ratings did not accurately reflect the status of the motel. ”

“If you’re thinking about staying in Lakeland, stay here! It’s close to everything, just a few miles to Joker Merchant Stadium, and Cheddar restaurant is in the same parking lot, it is delicious. We stayed 3 nights and had zero complaints/problems. The hotel is so clean, smells so fresh, rooms were roomy, beds comfortable, and clean, staff were all nice, and complimentary breakfast was delicious-not your normal free hotel breakfast. The pool and workout areas were also very nice. The best part is……

“Not much to complain about. Great location, with easy access off the interstate. Room was quite spacious and well appointed. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again when in the area.”

“The location felt safe but was very noisy. Between sirens, the EV charging station right outside my window and inexplicably aggressive house keeping, it was difficult to get good sleep. The breakfast and breakfast staff were very good. My room had a whirlpool tub. It worked well and did its purpose nicely. ”

“The room that was assigned to me had dirty carpet as you can easily see dirt and debris on it. The carpet definitely needed a good cleansing. In the night, I spotted 2 roaches in the room crawling around which is a health hazard. I informed the staff in the morning while checking out - and they got into defensive mode only saying 'apologies for this incident, we never had this complaint'. Glad I had pictures to prove roaches in the room. Also the couch in the room was in a poor shape & needed……

“It was a bit frustrating driving 4 hrs to be told that our room wasn’t ready at 4:30 when check in time was 3. Then when we came back after attending the concert at the Strawberry festival there was no parking available because of all the construction equipment in the parking lot. But the young lady who was working allowed us to park in the front. She was extremely nice and the issues had nothing to do with her. ”

“We had a nice stay. The staff was nice. The weather was perfect for the kids to enjoy the pool. We used the grill for hot dogs and hamburgers. ”
