"This is a lovely peaceful gîte with pretty mountain views. A well-equipped property, with nice furnishings and a good kitchen. Comfy beds and adequate heating for those chilly mountain evenings! You definitely need a car here, placed as it is, but it’s great for hiking and a 30 minute drive from Aix les Bains and 50 minutes from Annecy. "Die Wohnung ist abgewohnt. Als wir ankamen war die Wohnung gerade gewischt, kalt und es zeigte sich sofort die mangelnde Instandhaltung. Warum hat man nach dem Wischen nicht einfach schon mal die Fußbodenheizung eingeschaltet? Irgendwie funktionierte das Wesentliche zwar, aber lose Tollenpapierhalter, eingeschlagene Innentür, Plastikabdeckung auf dem Tresen, fehlende bzw. Defekte Beleuchtung insbesondere im Bad, ….und richtige Dreck überall, wo man nicht mit dem Staubsauger ohne Weiteres...

Hôtel du Palais de l'Isle

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect location, very nice staff, clean and comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again if make it back to Annecy. Be aware that you cannot drive cars near the hotel, it is only accessible by foot. A little tricky bringing roller suitcase over cobblestone roads, but well worth it! "
