「The location was really convenient. We could walk to downtown Ballard, plus there were lots of great places within a few blocks. Our room was efficient. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room to read vs the small bench. The communal kitchen on the first floor was a nice addition. We also appreciated having a small kitchen in our room. 」

「We had a great time exploring the island. The house was nice and well stocked. The deck had a great view of the water and we saw seals out playing ever evening.」

「Chris hosted us for a short visit to the area. The room is clean and updated. The listing was accurate, and the bed was comfortable. I believe we were in the flight path for paine field but after a couple of early evening flyovers, it was quiet. The property is lovely and the view cannot be beat. 」

「A nice suite with condiments in the kitchen. Makes me feel like coming home after a day out. Good coffee supplied and a nice sharp cutting knife ready to make dinner. Other little things around that make it feel like a home. In winter take warm cushy socks as the door opens to the living room and makes it cool on the floor. Not able to control heat, but it was at a temperature I liked -maybe not for others? I will look for this place again when needed」

「We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries.」

「Host was extremely welcoming and attentive to our family visiting from Canada. The view of the lake and mountains from the covered patio was amazing. We ate most our meals and played many board games while taking it all in from the patio. The unit was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Lots of towels and beach chairs for use around the lake. Fantastic vacation!」

「We loved the cottage!! It was so cute! Maybe even prettier in person if that’s possible. Check in/out was a breeze. Hosts were so nice and easy to communicate with! Couldn’t say more nice things. Definitely stay here if you are looking for something in the area!」

「Great place for a family looking for relaxed retreat but still within greater Seattle area or looking to travel via west ferries! The place was clean, accurate and organized upon arrival and the host is communicative. Highly recommend bringing a car not too large since the driveway is quite narrow. 」

「We were there for a graduation and then a little site seeing. Place was great, good location for what we needed. Everything we needed was close by and far enough away from downtown that we didn’t get trapped in traffic.」

「The host was helpful in providing practical information regarding “wash and fold” services, where to print documents, etc. The location is ideal - centrally located between Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond. The neighborhood is safe and has lots of trees around.」

「Nicely equipped, older cottage in a very private area with a fantastic beach location. We had it all to ourselves. It is down a narrow private road. The cottage had everything we needed. Saw lots of wildlife in and out of the water. Host was very nice and accommodating. I would stay here again. 」

Great Stay next to Seattle Premium Outlets

"The hotel is new. We could do the prior check in online that made the check in time shortened. It offers free parking and complimentary breakfast that fits for our family of 5. The making up service is perfect as we see the cleaning staff made very detail cleaning. The hotel staff were also very friendly to our kids. We love the location near Seattle Premium Outlets. We will visit again if we go to Seattle next time."
