The Metzler House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation! The Metzler has everything imaginable in the kitchen as far as Appliances, utensils & dishes! House was very clean (but carpet throughout needs to be replaced (should put in wood floors) & furniture in living room could use a good cleaning. Had a problem with kitchen faucet & the owner came by & it was replaced the next day. Could use a few more chairs on upstairs deck and regular chairs under the deck by the pool!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was again a wonderful week at this property. We had an issue with both ice makers not working. Things can go wrong no matter where you stay. Unlike other rental agencies, however, this one came out right away, ordered a part & fixed it by the end of our week. In the meantime, they offered to reimburse the cost of ice purchases. They are always responsive & accommodating. The Vayk Gear was also a great perk. We love staying here!

We had multiple families traveling at that moment. Lucky we got in touch with Garden City Realty, they made this gem available and had it cleaned and ready in a matter of an hour! The house was great, it suited multiple families and the rental agency went above and beyond for us. Truly appreciate Garden City Realty when Sea Star Realty just fell way short.

However, as can happen with any rental, we experienced a garage disposal replacement, a washing machine replacement and a GCFI outlet replacement. Thanks for the prompt replacement, we lived through the inconvenience. Should be good to go for the latest renters.

Reviewer Comments: Vacationed with family - including three 2 year-olds and a five year old. Great house - nice amenities. Loved the pool. We observed big cockroaches on the porch every night and saw a few inside the house too. The property manager sent the pest people out but they came right during dinner one night and wanted to spray inside (with three two-year olds - no way!!!). Property manager said it had been very wet a few weeks before and that the bugs were an issue everywhere.
