Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: balcony furniture was great along with the view of the ocean. Overall condo was fine.but the comodes in both bathrooms were sized seen in kindergarden bathrooms. I guess the owner are very short.

Great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time staying in this condo. Loved the location! Easy parking, and plenty of spaces. The condo was comfortable for our family. We always cook on vacation, and utilized the kitchen every night. Plenty of items to make our meals. Like that we are able to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The stand up shower in the master is very small. The only “issue” we had was the floor in the tub has nothing to keep you from slipping. Even the small shower was a little tricky. We ended up just putting a towel in the bottom of the tub so mom wouldn’t slip. The time of year we went was perfect to be able to get to talk to some of the owners! Lovely group of people. Would definitely recommend to friends or family!

The master bed was very uncomfortable, and the shower was small. There was a moldy smell in some of the drawers in the kitchen. Alittle updating would have helped.

This was our first time in 208.While the condo was very nice and updated, there was a lot lacking in theKitchen. No cookie sheets or big bowls to put dinners in when made.We stay in condos so we don’t have to go out every night. Hard to cook when utensils/pots/pans/bowls are limited

Moldy manor

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The day we arrived we had to wait in line twice for 45 minutes to get checked in they said they would text when unit was ready we got nothing! Then we get to the condo walk in and it smells of mildew and mold . We see mold in the cabinets they had put baking soda to try and hide it. There was mold in the living room , the inside AC in hall, on ceiling in the rooms. Called the office they told us they would send a maid she cleaned just to temporarily cover up the mold . Called the office again and she said stay there are go home . This is the worst place I have ever stayed in also the water would not regulate in the shower so you froze or was scaled . Called the rental service everyday this issue still hasn’t been resolved!! Stay away!!!

First experience wasn’t a good experience

Was told rentals weren’t to full capacity but still being cleaned. Cleaned? I could have done a better job. Condo is dated. Shower was like we were camping. The maintenance DEPT was the best when we had no internet and a broken coffee table upon arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have never had any issues with Garden City Realty so overall my family and I had a great stay at Sea Oaks 208. I will say this year I felt the condo wasn’t as clean as it should have been. There were used dirty sheets left on the fold out couch (there were nasty food crumbs everywhere when we pulled the bed out for the first time). Also, kitchen wasn’t as clean as I’ve had in the past. I found dirty dishes in cabinets and the drawer with silverware wasn’t clean either.

We drive 5 1/2 hours to get there and arrive to sandy floors, dirty counter tops, tables, etc. I'm too tired to wait for someone to come clean what should have already been cleaned to start with.

Another wonderful vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay at the Sea Oaks. We stayed in 111 in 2017 and 208 in 2018. There were a few issue when we arrived but were quickly taken care of. This location makes up for any inconveniences we experienced during our checking. The issues I am referring to would be that the unit needed to be tidied up just a little more and a few blankets needed to be removed and washed.

Dark and stagnant.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was, OK... We’ve been coming to this area for the last 15 years and have stayed in many places. Our biggest complaint about this unit , SWEEP THE FLOORS! When we got here, my feet were literally peeling of the floors they were so dirty and sticky my feet were literally peeling off the floors. This probably has more to do with the cleaning company than GSR, but they are supposed to inspect the unit. I really shouldn’t have to sweep and mop the floors when I arrive. And what really got me, there was a previous review that said almost the same thing when I was looking to book this place. it was updated.. but not enough. We wouldn’t use the shower in the master bath, far too small. The water in the main bath would go from freezing to scalding hot... and with it being a side view, there was hardly any sea breeze coming into the room. Dark paint in the kitchen made it feel very dark. Ultimately, nothing I would call in and complain about, but I don’t think I’ll stay here again... Pool and deck area was fantastic, best part of the property! Maybe just stay in a different unit.

Disappointed Again

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sea Oaks 208 for the past 5 years. Last year, we noticed the unit wasn't being cleaned as well as it needed to be. The ac unit did not cool the unit, and the overall condition of the property seemed to have been neglected. We reported these issues to the rental agency, in hopes the issues would be addressed. This year, the issues had not been addressed. The dust in the condo was terrible. Trash was under the beds, and dirty dishes in the cabinets. The hallways and parking spaces were full of trash, including abandoned strollers. We won't be renting this unit again next year.

A nice week overall

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Garden City Realty made it very easy. Both the initial rental process and the check-in/check-out process. We called a couple times in the beginning of the week to note a few things missing from the unit and they were very accommodating. There were a few issues with the unit that need to be addressed...doors jamming, toilet handle breaking, old box tv couldn't connect to dvd player despite maintenance looking at it, mattress pad missing on twin bed, couch sitting cushions sinking to frame level, etc. But laminate flooring throughout is a nice upgrade and the location of unit is nice. We have stayed at Sea Oaks for over 10 years and love it! This was our first time in 208. While not the best, we did have a great week overall just being on vacay with family :)

This property was nice but make sure you bring along a lot of your own kitchen supplies if you plan on cooking. The property was clean on the surface but under the beds was pretty bad, the cleaning service could do a lot better.

Reviewer Comments: Our linen was not in the room when we got there but we called and it was delivered Asap. The pool had a lot of sand in the bottom. There was scum on the blue tile within the pool and there was black mold on the inside edges of the pool. We stayed there last summer and the pool was a lot better. I did not feel comfortable using the pool. I called to report this but the pool was same when we left so I feel they did not take the report seriously. Hope no one develops health issues because of this.

Summer Fun

This year was the most disappointing. The master bedroom mattress slept horribly! The ac did not seem to cool the condo. The guest tub frequently clogged. There were clumps of dust behind furniture and under the beds. Everyone at the complex could not get over the amount of roaches around the grounds (none seen in the condo). The trash dumpster was consistently overflowing. This year, there seemed to be many rowdy guests, some of which were not occupants of the complex, but friends or walk ups. We've loved it here until this year. :(

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for a week of June 18,2016. We had a great time! Perfect location. Some things we loved...the condo was clean, we never heard any noice from other condos, the elevator was never a wait, parking was always available, loved the distance from the decks to the pool, the condo has everything you need...board games to every kitchen item you needed. Just a few cons...the living room furniture was dated. The couch was not comfortable and the recliners you really couldn't recline back in either. The doors stuck and we called maintenance to fix but they sprayed wd40 on them and still they stuck. There were no hangers so I went and bought some and left them. But overall it was a great vacation and we will definitely be back to stay in this location!
