“I have stayed here many times in the past and always enjoyed the experience. However, this past trip, we returned from an all day offshore fishing trip to find our room door wide open. Unsettling to say the least (fortunately nothing was missing from the room). After looking around, it seemed like the housekeeper finished half of their duties and walked out (i.e., the beds were made and towels replaced but trash remained on the coffee maker counter, nothing was wiped off and amenities were not……

“Very nice stay the rooms have been redone and very nice the walk to the beach is right out the door if you are on the main property many restaurants around in walking distance Thank you again Staff at Mia”

“Our 2nd floor room was beachfront. The Nags Head Outlet was within walking distance as well as a huge "beach" store. The Sea Foam is an older historical motel that was recently sold. Yes, it is in need of repair and updating, however, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and decent water pressure. It fit our needs. Word is that the new owners have big plans.”

“Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out……

“Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! We did dine at the in house restaurant. It was ok,……

“First time at a B&B. Bill and Veda set the bar really high for other B&Bs we will visit. Cypress House was charming, clean and so welcoming. It was exactly what we were looking for when we planned this little vacation. Breakfast was great every day. Bill and Veda answered all our questions and request. They gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We will definitely be visiting again!!”

“I enjoyed my stay even if it was one night! Pool was beautiful and relaxing. Stores and restaurants all around! Room was pretty, bed was comfy and crisp. Beach is legit behind like if it was ur backyard. Definitely will be coming back in the future!”

“This hotel had a great hot breakfast, different each day, clean, comfortable room with plenty of big closet space for beach stuff as well as clothes. Great room great staff, big gym for workout, and close walk to pool and beach. We will be back!”

“Could use an update. Breakfast was bad. Bacon not done, eggs not good. If you just want a waffle or toast it was ok.”
