Comfortable

Loved the balcony.... great view of the ocean. Enjoyed the lazy river (wish it was bigger and partly outside), and the hot tub. Good access to the beach, nice lounjge chairs around the pool area.

Mixed bag

The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The sink would clog and the door was moldy. But the other aspects of the hotel was nice like: the pools, the kitchen having a stove. But it leaves more to be desired.

Average and Not Worth the Money Spent

The building is outdated and needs many repairs including elevator issues. The beach boews and sunlight were nice but not worth $600 for 3 nights.

My review at The Patricia Grand

I didn’t like that the rental property did not have wash cloths in my room. I did not like that the water pressure in the bathroom was very weak it took me a long time to shower. I also did not like that they did not offer complimentary coffee or tea downstairs. They only offered Starbucks and you had to pay an additional fee for that after the price you already paid to stay there. The beds were small as well it told me I rented a queen but it was a full size bed. The floors inside the room had grit or sand on the floors when you walked on them, very uncomfortable feeling. On the other hand, the location was nice right on Ocean Drive where all the restaurants and tourists shops are. The indoor and outdoor pool was clean and accessible.

Wonderful Experience!

What I loved about The Patricia Grand was the beautiful layout of the resort, the number of pools, and of course, the location and access to the beach. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs/request. We arrived approximately 1/2 hour early (3:30pm) and to my surprise, our room was not ready. I was told, housekeeping was "Still in there cleaning". Myself and about 5 other families (doggies included), were forced to wait in the lobby, which started to get really crowded and crazy. At 3:50 pm, I checked on the status and was told, "Nope, they are still cleaning...we will call you when its ready". At exactly 4:00 pm (Check-In Time), my phone and others rang and it was a dash to the check-in counter, to get our room key! I mention this to say, perhaps early check-in request can be honored, to prevent a fiasco in the main lobby! The unit was nice with a beautiful ocean view! It can use a little attention, with regards to the bathroom (which is small in size). We had to call maintenance upon arrival, as the toilet would not flush properly. They arrived promptly, fixed the problem and it was workable for the remainder of our stay. It did, however, flush very, very, slowly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back, very soon, for a visit.

Excellent

I loved the view of the ocean and being able to have my morning tea sitting on the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the 4 pillows were of excellent quality and comfortable. I had an efficiency unit and they also provided a significant amount of plates, silverware, and pots to be able to cook with. The only complaint i have was there was no hair dryer in my room and when i asked the front desk they were all out.
