We booked a short stay for a quick getaway. It just happened to be on a super cold day for SC and after we had already had challenges getting to the Beach. We check in and go to the room. The door doesn't open. I go to tell the front desk who, after speaking down to me like I don't know how tonuse a key card, says they will send maintenance. We are waiting outside in front of the room and keep in mind it's cold. The front desk calls and says they need to move us to another room and has an attitude with my wife when she clarifies that she wants the same type of room. Ends up we got a smaller room with a slightly different view. The ice bucket had a cup inside with a partially smoked cigar. (Not exactly a smokefree hotel afterall.) There was also trash on the floor. We did call and ask for an extended checkout time due to our issues (however, nothing was volunteered by the staff and the maid still knocked on our door at 10am to ask when we were leaving). In addition, the walls are thin. A small dog woke us up around 1am. This was the most unrelaxing experience I've ever had at a resort. We come to the Beach multiple times a year and have never had such a negative experience.

We had a great stay! Very clean...Very personable staff! Stacey Marlowe ( front desk ) was fantastic! Very helpful for our Myrtle Beach vacation! Chip ( our inside outside bartender) was great!! Stacey our morning breakfast waitress to start out our day...always made our mornings great!! Thank you!! We love the Patricia Grand!! We will always stay here when we come down!!

The location was perfect and the hours for the pool were very good. Parking was a plus. Loved the expedited check-in. Would definitely us this space again if available.

Pool was nasty and dirty. Room floors never been cleaned or moped. No hot water. Only had hot water one day. I give the room a minus 5. You all need to fire the help and start over. I can’t say this enough. No hot water and floors nasty. Black feet after a min of walking without socks.
