I love staying at Patricia Grand when I go to myrtle beach. I usually go in the springtime, so having access to an indoor pool is always nice

Comfortable but nothing fancy

Great ocean view. Room was comfortable but shows age. Beds were okay - not great mattresses. Most annoying part was at least 6 pizza flyers shoved in door every day. It was obnoxious. Pools and beach amenities full of children all day long and into the night. Very pet friendly, although 18th floor location means lots of waiting for elevators to take dog down to do her business.

Loud vibration

There was a really loud vibration noise every night around 10:30pm for about an hour to an hour and a half. Like someone jackhammering the floors. Made walls vibrate. We called the front the first 3 nights. First night and second night they said they would send someone to check. No one ever showed up. The 3rd night security showed up and said it was the water heater or water lines. He said he would let maintenance know. We had to deal with that every night we were there. Only did it at night. So i don't think it was that.

Good Enough/Average

The view was great! The pools were great! For $115 a night I’d stay there again. There are somethings that weren’t great. When we arrived, the bathroom door wouldn’t closed. We had to call maintenance. I’d like to think housekeeping would have noticed that. A lot of the fixtures need some touch up paint and stain. There was a broom but no dustpan. Without housekeeping coming everyday and being a place at the beach it might be nice to invest in some vacuums for the room, but at least have a dust pan with the broom. I almost gave 3.5 to 4 stars, but on our last day there, I had to keep my door closed and off the balcony. The people below me were smoking and it was coming up in the room, even through the AC. I could see them smoking on the balcony below me. I called and went to the desk 3 times. The entire property is no smoking. It’s irritating that it took three times for anything to be done about it. We left the following morning so I don’t know if it continued or not.

Nice and clean, could use a few changes

It was nice and clean, spacious. They should really invest in key fobs for ALL entry ways because the doors in the pool area lock after 11pm so if you’re enjoying the beach at night you have to walk all the way around the front to get in. The staff wasn’t that friendly. We had to go to front desk for towels and wash cloths. Lazy river is advertised but I didn’t see that, only 2 yellow floats. I do like the onsite Starbucks. Should definitely have coin machine for laundry
