Family Vacation

Upon arrival of our family vacation in Myrtle, the staff was friendly. They were welcoming. We were on the 19th floor (top floor) which was nice, however when our key cards stopped working each day and our door wouldn't open it made for a real pain in the butt to go all the way back to the lobby to get cards that actually worked. My suggestion was to have them put the key cards on a lanyard. Otherwise, the magnet in your phone and in your wallet is a no go for them. The room however, was clean. The pools weren't very cramped, and had plenty of room for the amount of guests during our stay. Suggestion to bring your own toilet paper, unless you want to wipe with 1 ply. We enjoyed our vacation, and certainly didn't want it to end so soon.

Concerns

The only issue was the floors needed to have cleaned for my arrival. A suggestion would be that the mattress be rotated occasionally. There is an imprint which shows where most renter set. Other than that the room was very nice.

Convenient location but dirty.

The location is nice with close beach access but the property and unit itself were very dirty. The elevators were very slow and only one was working at a time so it took a very long time to get up and down from the top floor. The place is supposedly dog friendly but there was no pet relief area and the one area of grass had signs to keep pets off. Perhaps this accounts for the place being so dirty. The unit itself is seriously lacking on cleaning between guests. We have a very small 5 lb Pomeranian but there was visible dry dog pee halfway up the wall (clearly a much larger dog has stayed before us). Upon further inspection there was also dry pee on the bottom corners of the bed. I highly suggest the unit manager stock some sort of cleaner for guests who have dogs to be able to clean up their messes. The toilet clogged halfway through our visit from just a little toilet paper and we had to call the front desk twice throughout the day to finally get someone to take care of it. The janitor said the plumbing was a common issue. I will say, my 9 year old son really enjoyed the pools and we were able to walk to some great restaurants. In total, I’m sorry to say I would not recommend this particular property.

This was not a good experience at all. Room had pet hair every where. No room service asked for trash pick up and toilet paper. Never got either. Police called for a disturbing guest. Left a day early. This was not at all the place advertised.
