Room 1922 at the Patricia Grand

View was nice, room was clean. Kitchen area was nice but did not end up using it. Parking garage was very close. No problems getting a sun bed in the late morning.

I booked this property for a getaway for my husband and I. I had a question regarding our check in instructions and parking instructions and never received a reply from the owner. When We arrived very late at night (around 2am) our room reeked of weed and smoke. It was unbearable. We tried to sleep with the balcony door open but there was music blasting from a room nearby, so keeping the door open was not an option. When I asked if we could please switch rooms the attendant at the front desk could not accommodate us. Even though we signed a rental agreement that clearly states there will be no smoking on the premise and that quiet hours begin at 10pm those rules were not upheld by the owner. Aside from the uncomfortable first night, the location was ideal—steps from the beach with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The hotel is a bit dated but it is rather expected for such a great price. Aside from sub-par owner communication and smoking from other guests that will often leak into your room it was a great place to stay if you’re looking forward to spending your time on the beach!

The bed sheets had hair and crumbs all over them, clearly they hadn't been changed. We had to ask the front desk for a fresh set. The phone was also completely covered in small hairs. The bottom of our socks were black from walking on the floors. At least the view was nice. It was convenient to have a kitchen.

Great amenities

We had an amazing view from our room even though it was not ocean front. I loved that the accommodations were pet friendly. The staff does work hard to keep the place clean. Our rooms were descent but with my OCD I still found things they could improve on but it wasn’t a deal breaker. They were willing and offered to correct the issue but I declined. The bed was comfortable and it was spacious for a studio. The pool was really nice and there was easy access to the beach. The location was great. Only a few blocks from the Grand Strand. I would consider staying here again.

This condo was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The resort is dog friendly and there is a little dog park right beside it. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, lazy river, and several hot tubs. Just a few steps from the beach!

Intimate setting

The room is more hotel than condo. Still cozy and effective. Clean. The kitchen provided enough silverware for small meals. The view is beautiful and peaceful. You are close to others so you will be able smell if they are smoking. Close to everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Hardly needed a car, because it's a nice walk to activities on Ocean Ave. Enjoyed the room and appreciated the view.

For a no smoking place alot of people were smoking and smell of marijuana. Our bathtub was dirty upon arrival and the bottome of the bathroom sink floor was dirty I swept a bit. I sent in pictures. I had called and asked for a remote or batteries and the guy who answered was extremely rude .

The view is great. The room is nice as well. I slept several nights with the door open just to hear the waves. Pools are great. The breakfast was really good. Close to a lot of attractions. Other than going to the water park we walked everywhere.

Run down and not clean

Our room was nasty. There were a lot of hairs in the bed! The shower was not clean. Al they did was refund us the cleaning fee and offer a voucher for a free breakfast at the on-site restaurant. The food was awful and cold so we left. I would not recommend the Patricia Grand to anyone. The hot tub looked like boiling pee🤢🤮
