July 4 get away

Checking in was a breeze. The view from our room was amazing. There were a lot of people so we didn't use the pool or hot tubs as there were just so many people. The commination with the host was wonderful. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and plenty of things to cook with. Missing potholders so bring your own, there are extra pillows but no pillow cases so bring those also. Checking was easy, clean all your dishes (there is a dishwasher so bring pods they do have two there but you will want to bring more). The balcony is big but only has two chairs so you will want to bring more chairs to sit on the balcony. 2nd pier is just a short walk and we were able to sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks. There is a lot to due and the until was very nice.

Dusty, Dirty and Grime

Sad that the location is so perfect on the beach but so dated, I can deal with that however was filthy dirty. I contacted the mgr who wanted to see pictures. I sent many pictures then never heard back. There was dust on the bedside table and even top of the toaster! The floor was not mopped nor swept.

Beautiful view

Very nice layout 2 bedrooms well separated. We enjoyed our stay despite the many missing amenities, like hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, dust pan, Keurig coffee maker is inoperable. The place was dusty. Dining chairs are wobbly. One of the bedroom bathroom light does not work. The utensils and dishes were incomplete sets Anyone can tell that no one insured the place is ready. Outside ameneties were great. Walking dista ce to the beach, hut tubs, pools. I will not recommend this property to anyone.

The pictures are not what it looks like

Upon our arrival we were emailed the code to the building that did not work, I walked over to the office, the ladies were absolutely RUDE and didn't want to give me a code to the building even though the code was changed that morning. The code that was sent by VRBO was no fault to them. Just beware if you need anything, the ladies that work the registration are not friendly at all. When we did get into the hotel, the room we reserved had no number on it, so it was a guessing game as to if we were in the right room. The code worked so it must have been right... LOL. The room was not clean, the dishes from the last tenants were left in the dishwasher dirty, I washed them all by hand and put them away... The filters hadn't been changed in months. Head grease and handprints all over the headboards. Dust on everything, floors not swept or mopped, blood on the shower curtain, the pillows were horrible and stained (Brought my own, Thank god). The sheets are old with fuzz balls all over them. The TV's work, but not smart TV's, No movie channels, No light in the guest bathroom. Maybe I spoiled but the Holiday Inn is much better!!! It' a real shame because the location is perfect with the perfect set up for a couple sharing a room. The bedrooms were on the opposite side of the room which was great. I loved the set up so much, and this room could be a great place to stay with some updating and some TLC. For the amount of money we paid for 7 days, it could have been much better.
