Nice beach location
We had three families staying here and we’re fairly comfortable. The beds’ sizes worked well for multi-family stays. Bathrooms for each bedroom were nice. The walk to the beach was easy (walking past a small public parking lot and about 3 homes, maybe?) Not far. Parking worked for four vehicles and three golf carts but like most places in Surfside, it’s one ling skinny driveway with parking under house. Pool was nice with trees providing some shade. You could swim in shade or in sun. That was nice. A grill would be a nice addition but it isn’t typical in this area. The homes are turned o er weekly and have few comfy extras. Adequate supplies but no extras like games, puzzles, books, or sand toys. If guests leave them, I suspect they are removed to keep things neater. I understand but in other VRBO homes those things are nice. Bring your coffee filters so you don’t have a rough first morning. :)
We had a roof leak issue in the double Queen room. It ruined one day of our trip. I did not feel that the real estate company responded in any way that recognized our inconvenience. They sent someone hours later who was a plumber and he said to us, “this isn’t a plumbing problem.” To which we agreed. Luckily it didn’t rain again. We moved the bed away from hole in ceiling.
The next day we were sent new bedding. The mattress cover had protected the mattress.
Overall we had a nice time. Surfside Beach is a wonderful location.
