Myrtle Beach Resort

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All and all our stay was very good! I was a bit taken back by how many people stayed at the location. It may have also been because it was the week prior to the 4th of July. The biggest issue with this was parking. There were times I had to take multiple laps around the buildings before a spot would open up. Description of location, layout and amenities was accurate. A couple of minor things need some attention...kitchen could use a couple more cooking items including a large pot. The doors need adjustment because they don't close properly. Upon arrival, we found the floor to be in need of a more thorough vacuuming, in particular around the couch in the living area.

I would not recommend this resort if you have other options to consider. Our unit had a number of issues. The refrigerator was turned off when we arrived. Unfortunately we had already stopped at the store and had to scramble to find storage - luckily we had friends in the same building to help us out as management kept offering ice but I kept explaining we didn't have enough coolers to put the food on ice. It was a stressful start to our trip and we nearly lost 300 worth of groceries. It took overnight for the fridge to cool down. One of the ac vents dripped condensation from the ceiling onto the floor. The interior doors were warped and would not close all the way, making privacy in bathrooms and bedrooms difficult. The sliding doors to the balcony were terrible - one was broken with a note on it that said do not use and the other was difficult and loud to open/close. The dishes were not clean, we had to wash before using. Our building had the indoor pool 4 floors below us and it was extremely loud until 10pm when it closed. It was so noisy that you could barely hear the tv inside even after cranking up the volume. The beach area was dirty and littered with beer bottles and other trash. Overall it seemed like this resort was just very dated and in need of updates. The outdoor pool by building A was nice. The ‘waterpark’ is tiny and suited to kids 5 and under. Our unit plugged stunning ocean views in the description but it is not really ocean view.
