First don't park under the dripping slime mold parking area... the slime doesn't come off your windshield. Ceiling and walls crumbling... the carpet was so filthy, frayed and sticky that we had to wet wipe our feet. The bedding was at least clean and the beach is awfully close, but that's about the only positives I have for our stay.

1st I had a vacation booked from 9/11 to 9/14. Get there... no reservation 2nd get a room and immediately smells like a bottle of clorox. Started looking...there's mold EVERYWHERE 3rd the staff was absolutely amazing. They showed me another room which had mold also and immediately gave me a refund. Sorry Bar Harbor the motel is in need of serious cleaning and renovation.

We didn’t like anything the hotel has not been kept up no towels or wash cloths in the bathroom had to ask for them said free WiFi but the WiFi didn’t work we paid for three nights but left early didn’t stay the third night couldn’t take it anymore there was black mold in the bathroom just the worst place we have stayed at just trying to save a little money but never again

We found a bedbug in our first room. Got upgraded to a higher level room. However, it was cleaner than the initial room, the microwave did not work, bathroom sink did not work and the shower water would not get warm so we had to take cold showers. I will say the woman at the desk was so very nice and understanding. I will say, the price made it easier to go spend money on other stuff

Run. Tell your children to run. The absolute worst hotel ive ever stayed at. You even have to ask for nasty towels and they dont clean your room let alone the hotel. The lobby hasnt been vacuummed in 40 yrs and the elevator is about to fall apart from the crud built up on it. The carpet in my room was wet and the bathroom floor was coming up. The staff acted like you were a burden to be there even down right hateful. Way too many good places to stay to waste money here. RUN

This hotel was definitely a prime example of "get what you pay for"-- if you are looking for a basic room, thats clean, thats very conveniently located to ocean blvd. Without the expensive "frills" and price tag-- this is IT! The office staff was very helpful to us throughout our stay, and overall we had no big issues. Beds were comfortable, TV worked, pool area was clean, and everyone that stayed there was friendly.
