The condo was very nice and very clean! The elevator did smell obnoxiously of cigarette smoke. I did like the key code to get in the elevator area. There was allot of strip noise even for out of season. Overall, it’s a very nice property and the condo itself was very nice!

First, the condo appearance and cleanliness was fine. But, the shower valve was loose and hanging out of wall, the water pressure was non existent. The AC didn’t work and over 4 days no one came to fix it. There were roaches, but it’s the beach. The alley ways on each side, and the tables directly underneath were full of drug addicts nodding off, shooting up and smoking crack. There were prostitutes yelling at cars to the right near the Summer Sands wall. There was a crack dealer that was distributing right below us every night. We didn’t even feel safe on our balcony. We could hear them yelling and cussing well up through 3am. There was so much riff raf, trash, clothes, and busted glass surrounding the property that we didn’t let the teenage kids walk to the car without us. This was by far my worst experience in Myrtle Beach in my 40 years of going. The property looked nice online, but not feeling safe while onsite ruined it. The “amenities” that was advertised for use through Landmark were closed other than their pool. There were no towels available at the pool. Overall this was a TERRIBLE experience.

Overall the experience was very lovely. The check in was fast and easy the room was exactly what we expected! My only complaint is we never got towels. I called on 3 different occasions and was told some would be brought and never once. On our last full day I was able to catch someone on the floor and grab a few but besides that the experience was nice.

9 out of 10 not a fan of the deposit process.
I would give this hotel/condo a solid 9 out of 10, my only issue is with their deposit system. They hold 250$ on your credit card, or a flat 39$ fee. This is a clear effort to extort an additional 39$ from less affluent customers. They pushed the 39$ fee multiple times, but I declined. Off season in Myrtle is a calming experience while chilly, still a beautiful community. Clean, Comfortable, but not a fan of their deposit system.

The apartment was very clean. The amenities were great. It was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The front desk attendants were always pleasant. The only issue we had was some bugs were seen BUT the room was sprayed the very next day AND I was credited back 200.00 dollars. The other issue was I requested towels and rags and never received them. This was our first time staying at this property and even with the few little mishaps we were all pleasantly pleased and will definitely return for another stay at this faction the future.

The place wasn’t to bad. It was clean, but it’s the little things. They advertised queen beds when they were double beds. The toilet seat wasn’t the right one for any of the toilets, one side of the the glass for the bath didn’t move like it should, and the towel hanger fell out of the wall when I hung my towel on it. The door whistled, but they did come fix that quickly. For the price you pay you would think they wouldn’t skimp on the small stuff. Over all though not to bad of a place.

We loved our stay there was more than enough room for the 5 of us. There were plenty of pools and jacuzzis the only negative from my stay was only one eye on the stove worked which inconvenienced us when it came to cooking. There were also some sort of bugs at the indoor pool/jacuzzi area that ran out to our shoes that were sitting by the wall. That wasn’t a big deal but it was a little disturbing overall I loved the condo and will definitely stay again on my next visit

I would like to not that we HAD a reservation for Ocean Escape. Landmark Resort decided to lose our reservation and put us next door. At the Landmark. This is why the review is so poor. The Landmark looks like a homeless shelter. At one point, we found a needle cap from an old needle tube in the elevator. The carpet on the open floors needed torn up, there were NO carts to be found to carry luggage, no bell hops, and over half of the outlets in the unit did not work. The ice maker on the fridge was not connected, and the condo itself looks as if it has been remodeled by an inexperienced builder. It would have been better to simply keep the old layout and build another property. We were never given the opportunity to set foot in the Ocean Escape building, because our reservation was "lost". Staff handled this fine, but Landmark building is in dire need of maintenance and removal of such cheap rentals. They attract drug users at the Landmark. Will not be staying with this company again due to filth around the hallways, the elevator, the parking facility, and for the safety of my family.

This property was a beautiful condo but other than that...the service was horrible. No one came and cleaned our room and the staff did not communicate things with each other regarding our paid for extra late checkout etc...
