Small room, but excellent location and million dollar view

Compass Cove is a good location to explore Myrtle Beach or just relax on the beach. It would be nice to have access to the Gym and Laundry room, which are not available to VRBO guests.

The property was extremely moldy, dirty, and not well cared for. Flooring was peeling, the water smelled of rust and the room smelled of mildew. The sliding door didn’t open easily and the air conditioner was leaking. The property management company offered us another property to stay and it was equally as horrific. I am astonished that any host would offer these accommodations to guests! Thankfully we had the means to rent other accommodations but this nearly ruined our vacation.

Great respons and cle fun

Overall the experience was OK. We had a couple issues in regards to getting in. It seemed the prev guests broke a number of the keypad before our arrival. The beds were clean and decent amount of supplies Def great location and owners very ressponsive.

Great view balcony door would not open easily

Condo looked clean but not under furniture. The balcony door was not opening easily so we avoided to enjoy the view from it. Our kids loved the pools.

Misleading

We were looking forward to a long weekend at the beach, which we overall enjoyed, after all it is the beach. However, the unit we walked in to was NOT the unit advertised and reserved. The unit we were in was a totally different unit. That was very disappointing. The unit was dirty and worn. The living room area floor was cut and lifted up from the left wall to the right. (I immediately sent a picture of this damage). There was no response from the Property Manager in reference to the damage. We had to go out and buy some bathroom spray cleaner and clean the tub/shower before using. The balcony rug was dirty, there were no pillows and no blankets for the Murphy bed. I will not recommend nor will I ever rent through this Property Management/Owner again.

DON’T STAY HERE!!!!!!!

This was our first time at Myrtle Beach and let me say, the room was awful. We was ocean front and as soon as we got there the gliding door was broken . I mean completely coming apart from the frame. The Ac leaked water all over the floor and the washers in the laundry room was all messed up. We had to go to the next building to was clothes and bring them back to the pinnacle building to dry them and only 2 dryers worked! I contacted the person I rented the unit from to tel them about the door about to fall out and they said with it being Sunday they was unable to get anybody out till Monday ! Well Monday came and nobody ever showed up! We was unable to shut the door to the balcony the whole time and the room wouldn’t cool. Over all experience not pleased! Still haven’t heard from anyone about anything but this review! Well I’m sorry but DO NOT STAY HERE. Oh and the floors stayed wet all the time like moisture was building up and very slick!!! We will not be back!

Like home

Kids love it, our mini poodle feel like home. Everything was easy to found, all the appliances work perfectly. Everything clean and in order for our stay. The AC was wonderful. The property owner was easy to get in touch and quickly answers. Melanie make us feel like we was at home. Perfect view of the ocean and enjoy the fireworks from the balcony. The staff of the resort was kind and friendly with us. The pool was very clean and organized. We recommend 100%. If you looking for your kid and pet enjoy, this is the right one.

Condo was very unclean!!!

Arrived on time and went to room. Once arriving in it was obvious it was nasty. I have Several pictures of condo that I took. Me and my wife spent 3/4 of our second day cleaning up piles of hair, sand and dirt. Couldn’t walk with your bare feet or socks without turning black. We had to buy a mop to clean it ourselves. Was very unsanitary for us not alone our two young children!! Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Spoke to Rose online chat for VRBO no help at all just want d us to take care of it ourselves.
