Absolutely Awesome Condo

This condo was perfect for our family. We were in North Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament for 4 days. Great location to the ball fields. The grill is next to the building. The pool is around the corner (very close). The condo is clean and has all the amenities. It's a home away from home. We will definitely stay here again.

On Friday, 6/13 while everyone was playing golf, someone had come into our room. I planned on reaching out to Barefoot security to see if there are any security cameras. 2nd time this has happened while staying at the resort.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Day 1 - clean house after fixing vacuum cleaner. Make room in master closet to hang a pair of pants. Day 2 - rent a lounge chair that was comfortable so you could spend 3 months. Day 3 - wash all floors because they were filthy. From then on, stay was ok, good view of course from the patio. 👍 Condo Location is good 👍

Most stressful vacation experience ever.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Management couldn't pay me to stay here again. On my way there I call to get lockbox information and they tell me they double booked the unit in error and have no place for my family to stay after I was payed in full. Then they tell me they found somewhere and give me lock box code only to get there and the code doesn't work. Took an hour to get through to the emergency number to inform them then another 30 mins for someone to come because they had changed the code s didn't inform anyone. It was 3 families stuck outside waiting to get in the lockbox for their unit keys because no code worked. I was ready to return home before my vacation started. Would not recommend dealing with the management company there.

Suggestions for beginning a more enjoyable stay

Overall stay was good and a fairly quiet area (other than the condo directly above us) but a couple of things could be slightly improved in my opinion. First I believe the locations of the offered facilities need to be communicated/marked better. For first time visitors it is difficult to locate some of the things offered by the resort. Maybe offer a better information pamphlet of the surrounding area or supply something that the chamber of commerce/parks departments/entertainment companies & businesses offers, and more information on easy beach access points. Things such as if deep sea fishing/jet ski rental/scuba diving, etc… are available might be a plus as well. These are the two biggest suggestions I have and that’s merely because we did a large amount of driving around when we arrived due to getting there early to see what was available and close to us so we could start enjoying our time sooner. It wasn’t until the 3rd day we actually discovered areas like Lulu’s restaurant and that small area that was actually close and didn’t realize it sooner and only then because my daughters were at the large pool and happened to look across the channel and saw it. All in all a good stay, but I am one that likes a large amount of information when I get somewhere so I don’t have to fight the crowds/traffic to determine what we will want to start doing first and move on to next.

Nice Place

We've stayed in several places in Barefoot Resort, and this was one of the better ones. We liked being on the first floor, if you're lucky enough to not get noisy neighbors above. We were. It so beats climbing stairs. The furniture and amenities were good. The one negative I had was the TV station package. We're in Myrtle beach, and there's no Golf channel!! How can that be!! Also, it was the week of Wimbledon, and there was no Tennis channel. I would suggest upgrading your package. We were out quite a bit, so I can't say it was a deal breaker, but it's close.
