Not a great experience

Communication before we arrived was great, no issues with check in. That’s about all that was great. Refrigerator and freezer were not emptied from previous renters. There were wet used towels left from previous renters. A pair of flip flops were left at the front door. Kitchen cabinets filthy. We took care of these things ourselves and didn’t contact the manager as we are usually an easy going bunch. But then there were a couple things we couldn’t ignore. We were not left any pillows or blankets for the couch bed and it took quite late into the night to receive them. We went to lock the doors to go to bed and the sliding door lock to the pool deck was broken. The secondary safety bar was also broken. Then the two locks on the deck door were broken. With all 4 locks broken we had to do something about it as we were two moms and kids traveling. The manager said they would send someone but because it was later in the evening it wouldn’t happen until the following day. Both moms slept in that room so that the kids would have locking doors. The next day we were told maintenance came but when we came back from the beach the door was still broken. The management company asked me to send a video of the locks not working which I did immediately. That was the last communication they responded to. We stayed the entire trip with a door that wouldn’t lock. It is not a rentable property in my opinion if you do not feel safe to sleep at night. I would definitely not recommend.

It was just ok, but won't go back

The listing was incorrect about the bed size in the master bedroom. There is no queen size bed. It's a full size bed and twin bed. I asked the property manager twice about it and was ignored about the situation. There is NO ELEVATOR, which should be listed. This room is on the 3rd floor, so be ready to walk! We opted to pay extra, yes pay extra to get in the room early but it's up for review based on house cleaning and if it can be done or not. It was denied. This is completely fine, BUT I then expect my room to be clean. It was not. The floor where there was carpet was disgusting, they did not try to get around furniture or in behind anything. There are towel racks and toliet paper hangers missing. There is mold in the main shower floor. The kitchen cabinets have dried fluid splattered on them and all the doors are white yet completely black and gray from all the grime of people that have been coming and going. Just very little care for the property. The biggest issue we had was the owner having the AC unit controlled by the thermostat and constantly having it set to change at night. So the entire family would wake up sweating in the morning. It was ridiculous. We stayed 4 nights and was told the owner would fix the temp to 69 and they NEVER did. Every couple hours it reset to 72. It was miserably hot. For the money, we made the best of it, but I would not waste my time ever going back and would not recommend this unit.

Nice condo

Great location for us. Clean condo. No elevator which was fine for us but be aware. Only a few very minor suggestions for owner would be hooks for wet towels, full length mirrors in bedrooms on the doors and print outs of TV channels. Would stay again for sure!
