You get what you pay for
The first night was LONG, as soon as the sun went down cockroaches were EVERYWHERE (this was in January). I contacted the property management FIRST THING in the morning and they quickly contacted the front desk and it turns out that already had pest control onsite! The bug dude was very professional, explained the chemical being sprayed in our room and assured us we shouldn't see anymore bugs.
The other guests were on occasion, loud, rowdy, an did not pick up after themselves. It became a joke determining what would be on the floors in the hall and elevator... anything from used napkins going down the hall to bones from chicken wings on the elevator floor. The vending machine looked like it was last stocked over the summer and I didn't bother with ice as the moment we saw roachs, we didn't touch anything in the place. While they resolved the immediate issue, I would say I definitely got what I paid for (and not the EPIC deal I thought I was getting) and next time I'll gladly pay at least double.
