Excellent location, superbe views ! The only reason for some of the 4 starts (not 5) reviews are the condition of the apartment. It will require replacement of the living room furniture and the carpet that was stained and quite wear off. Everything else was perfect. 5 stars to Julie for communication and response to all our questions.

Myrtle Beach vacation
The condo was clean and the building was nice. The furniture was very uncomfortable to where i had trouble sleeping and the couch was uncomfortable. The parking was a little inconvenient with having to go across the street to get your car. Was beach front with beautiful views. For check in we wasn't able to get the door code till exactly 4:00 pm. So if someone shows up like 20 min early they have to wait to get in or pay extra. I guess if the place is already cleaned and noone is there what would it hurt to let someone in early especially after driving for 15 hours?

Extended Weekend Beach Getaway
Property met our needs for a weekend getaway with easy access to the ocean. Right on the beach with views of the water. The condo itself was very dated with furnishings and carpet that are overdue for replacement. The facility states that it is non-smoking, however thats all we ever smelled was cigarette smoke. People smoking from their balconies that you could smell even when sitting around the pool. Check in process could have been smoother. Paying for early check in and having to reach out for access seemed unnecessary and made for a stressful check in process.

I will NEVER rent from Big Fish Rentals or VRBO again! Upon arrival, the hot tub was not working. I was told to reset the circuit breakers and after doing so the fridge microwave and most importantly the A/C was not working! I contacted Julie (the owner) who promised to send over a mainteance person-they never came. I left after the third night and asked them for a full refund. They were highly unprofessional and did NOTHING to remedy the situation. They falsley advertised online when i got there the place wasnt clean and the furniture was old and outdated. This was a vacation that i had planned for a while and they made it very unsatisfying to stay there. Do yourself a favor and dont rent from Big Fish Rentals as they seem content to just taking tourists hard earned money and dont care about the well being of their customers.

Rental was overpriced and not in good shape
1. Appliances namely microwave, stove and dishwasher were in poor shape. 2. Plumbing was noisy when hot water was turned. 3. The carpet was in poor shape. 4. Other units in the building had linen service done once a week and rental rates were almost half the price of what we paid. 5. These were major points. There are many other minor points (too many to list). 6. The unit was not in shape to rent in my view.

The condo was dirty. Carpets required cleaning and overall I was worried about staying there. The furniture was chipped, marks on the walls, wall corner edges were damaged and the smell of marijuana was abundant everywhere you went. The security guards were aweful and definetely need to learn how to deal with the public. We will never return there.

Honest Review
We arrived at the property and the unit was not locked. Upon entering the property it was evident that it was not cleaned properly. There was still food in the fridge from the last guests and nothing had been wiped down. There beds had been changed and there were fresh towels in the unit. I contacted Julie and she sent someone over right away. There was a heavy mildew odor coming from the bathroom, I thought it would go away and could have just been from cleaning. It was still there when we got back from dinner. I starting inspecting places in the bathroom and found that the shower curtain was covered with mold on the bottom. I contacted Julie again and she personally came over within 30 minutes and changed it out. We later found dirty hand towels and napkins behind the couch in the living room when looking for a place to charge the phone. Needless to say, we were less than happy with the cleaning service especially when you and the previous guests are paying a high cleaning fee. Julie was prompt with getting cleaners over there quickly or coming herself. The unit itself could use a few updates in the living area and the mattress were not very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with just about everything you would need to cook. Even though this was a one bedroom unit, our family of four did not feel crammed and we felt like we had plenty of room, although we were not in the room much other than to sleep and eat. The second day a cleaner arrived to drop off sheets. We were confused because we already had sheets, but the bag had our unit number on them so they cleaner just left them. We went out for the day and when we returned the unit was not locked, the bedroom light where the sheets were was on and the sheets were gone. I contacted Julie and she stated she did not know why they took those sheets to our unit as they were meant for another unit. The hotel property was nice. There are several swimming pools and hot tubs as well as a lazy river. It was a bit chilly on the beach this time of year on a few days we were there so we utilized the pools and hot tubs. The beach was nice, but the hotel must contract with the umbrella company as they set up several chairs and umbrellas for people to rent. This is all done right in front of the hotel, so we had to set up in front of the hotel next door. Would have been a 4/5 review if it wasn't for the lack of cleanliness and door being left unlocked twice.

Perks!
I cook. I bring my own knives and cutting board. I bring wipes and clean before I unpack and the kitchen was so clean I didn't have to do that! They also had the loveliest lavender hand wash in the bathroom and kitchen soap with No bad cleaning chemicals in them! Crisp/clean sheets! The battery in the smoke alarm was beeping and it was replaced before I unloaded my car (about 20 minutes). Loved the owners and the space!

Wonderful Family Vacation!
I stayed here with my four teenage boys. We had a great time! Lots to do very close to the property. Great for a family that needs to cook and wash clothes to save money, time, and space. Looking forward to planning our next vacation.

Nice beach location. Unit has two double beds and a Murphy bed in living area. Washer and dryer in unit but dryer seemed to have difficulty in getting items dry. Kitchen has dishes for 4 peeps. Pool is very busy! People get down to pool at 8 am and place towels on chairs then leave and return later in the day. Wristbands are given at checkin but not enforced around pool area. Rough waters in ocean also contributed to the pool being more crowded. Parking is across the street. Elevators(3) seemed to run efficiently.

Great Vaca Spot in Myrtle Beach
So our stay got off to a bit a rough start with some issues left behind from the prior occupants, but the property manager Julie was absolutely on top of things. She had people in the room within hours on a Sunday evening to get things taken care of. Great location on the beach; wonderful amenities and good staff. Traveled with 4 kids and they loved the time and space I booked. Would do again.

Great place!
The condo was great and just what we were looking for! The resort has many options for pools for both adults and children. The condo was clean and checkin was easy! The property manager is in constant communication and you know exactly what to expect. The only suggestions would be to have a better and more adequate post and pans sets and to maybe provided an umbrella for the beach so you dont have to rent one. I highly recommend staying at this condo in Myrtle Beach!

My stay at the Sandy Beach was great!! The room was clean and stocked great with plenty of towels to last us for the week. The kitchen is a great size and the beds were comfortable. The resort has a few nice size pools and hot tubs that are kept fairly clean and the beach access is perfect!

Good place with an amazing view
We had an amazing stay! Kids loved the pools and lazy river, Julie kept in contact with us the entire time and was quick to respond if we had questions. The view was phenomenal, it was clean and within walking distance to a lot of good bars/restaurants. Can’t say enough positive things about it. We are hoping to stay here next year too!

Excellent location
We rented this property for a girls spring break weekend. It was chilly during our stay, but that allowed us time to enjoy the local neighborhood and all the heated pools. We could walk everywhere we went, including the large expanse of beach, the boardwalk and Sky Wheel. The property manager was extremely responsive and accommodating, helping set up an early check-in. I would stay here again and look for other properties managed by the same people.

Truly enjoyed our stay! Condo very adorable and conveniently located and accommodated our family nicely! Only remotely negative thing, was parking was across the street and the off load and loading area was very cramped! But that was a very slight inconvenience! Perfect Location, right on beach and close to Family Kingdom amusement park
It was the best beach trip we did so far. The condo is right at the beach facing the ocean. Sound of waves at night was perfect and we could see sun rise in the morning from the balcony itself. We did beach walk in the morning, played in the pool, lazy river, beach and hot spa till afternoon and then had a nice nap in the condo and then headed to Family Kingdom in the evening. We didn't even had to take our car out for anything the entire time we stayed there. We had to pay an extra fee for moving dates because of unforeseen events which was the only hiccup we had.Also as the previous reviewer mentioned, tv remote and dryer didn't work but it didn't bother us as much.
